“Spiritual Giving”

We believe that every child of God is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, given unique gifts and a valued role in the body of Christ – no one is without a special purpose or gift. Spiritual gifts are not talents or skills, per se, but rather God’s grace working in us to empower us to go into the world (far and near) to meet the deepest needs. Spiritual gifts are given to individuals, but also to be used to strengthen the community as we meet the needs around us.

Want to learn more about your spiritual gifts? Want to put them to work in the world?

The United Methodist Church provides an online Spiritual Gifts Inventory assessment that you can take as a way to discover your own Spiritual Gifts. It is a starting point, or a refresher point….and once you discover your Spiritual Gifts, you may want to pray with the pastor to learn more about how you are being called to use these in service to the Lord.
You can take the Spiritual Gifts Assessment at

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up the light of His countenance upon you and give you peace.

June 28, 2018: “And Craig was Smiling”

Be Brave: My faith journey; finding grace, mercy, love and healing in the midst of chaos: "And Craig was Smiling"    Continue Reading →

My name is Ali, and this is me. I am who I am and believe that God put me on this world to spread the Good News of Christ to all of God’s people. To let them know they are valued, they are worthy, and they are deserving of belonging. Our world is broken and my own story is one of abundance, belovedness, family, heartbreak, hope. If you like what you read…share it…if you don’t, that’s ok – we can still be friends. God bless…and always know YOU are loved, YOU are ENOUGH, and YOU BELONG.  ~ Pastor Ali
