Financial Giving

God calls us to share our gifts with others, which can include giving financially. We have an annual Stewardship campaign in the fall, during which members are offered the opportunity to make commitments about giving financially for the year to come. There are other opportunities to give throughout the year. We take up an offering every Sunday during worship. Some people give financially to the church through their trusts/wills. We also have opportunities to give financially outside this church, including UMCOR (the United Methodist Church Committee on Relief, which provides emergency funds to place experiencing natural disasters, areas in poverty, and more), local non-profits, and others.

Our Stewardship Campaign for fall 2019 is “Live a God-Pleasing Life!”  On Sundays, October 13, 20 and 27, we’ll be exploring how we are called to be managers of all of God’s creation. As owner, God has called us to be responsible as we fulfill the role for which we have been created, to do His will as long as we remain on earth. “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).

“May the God of peace…equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever Amen” (Hebrews 13:20-21).

June 28, 2018: “And Craig was Smiling”

Be Brave: My faith journey; finding grace, mercy, love and healing in the midst of chaos: "And Craig was Smiling"    Continue Reading →

My name is Ali, and this is me. I am who I am and believe that God put me on this world to spread the Good News of Christ to all of God’s people. To let them know they are valued, they are worthy, and they are deserving of belonging. Our world is broken and my own story is one of abundance, belovedness, family, heartbreak, hope. If you like what you read…share it…if you don’t, that’s ok – we can still be friends. God bless…and always know YOU are loved, YOU are ENOUGH, and YOU BELONG.  ~ Pastor Ali
